Martin Company carries many projects beyond the engineering stage all the way through the process of production. We understand the special challenges each design poses and the best ways to meet those in a timely and cost-effective fashion.

An Effective Production Process

Martin Company has developed an effective framework for organizing and managing production, as detailed in our Production Process flowchart. From project definition through execution and completion, we make sure the finished product meets every detail of the design specification.

Documentation - We generate documentation containing all the data required for any competent manufacturer to produce the product. We can reverse engineer electronic products and systems where documentation has been lost or damaged so that production can continue.

Through-hole - This is our traditional manufacturing technology. We do production runs up to 100 pieces in house, and supervise larger runs at contract assembly houses.

Surface-mount - We do both small production and prototype runs of surface-mount assemblies in house, and oversee larger runs at high-volume assembly houses.

Testing - Our capabilities include production testing and test documentation. We can operate as your production test department, and provide the reverse engineering of products to provide test fixtures and test documentation.

Repair - Martin Company repairs industrial electronic equipment in volumes of 20 units or more.

Prototypes - Our production department builds production prototypes to test assembly documentation and to evaluate how well designed a product is for building.

Larger Runs - We have relationships with production houses that allow us to quickly build runs of a hundred pieces or more. We can buy the parts and do the testing to assure the quality of the full production run.
